FAQ

Will I get a reminder call of my install and what time will the installer be out?

We will call at least once before the date of install to remind you of the installation and again on the morning of the installation date to give you a two hour window of arrival. Our schedules are fluid up to about 24 hours before your scheduled install date to optimize our routes, so giving a time of arrival before that may be difficult (larger jobs will typically need to be started in the morning to ensure completion).

How much space do you need to do the installation?

We will need the area that you could park your car(s) in the garage clear of all large items because we set up and build your garage door inside the garage. All cars, boats, trailers, lawn mowers, etc. will need to be moved out of the way. We will need the area all the way to the both sides of the tracks and back to the garage door operator clear as well.

Does someone need to be here during the installation?

That is completely up to you! We are licensed and bonded so it’s your choice, but we do require someone over 18 years of age to sign off on completion of some jobs (see your salesman for details).

Is it OK to be in the garage while the door is being installed?

We love to have our customers be part of the process of getting a new door, however, because of safety reasons we ask that you allow our technician to focus on the task at hand. We want to make sure we are doing our very best for you. Please keep children and pets away from the area during installation as well.

How often should I get my door serviced?

We recommend you look at your door annually to check for wear and proper function. If you have issues please contact us to come make any needed repairs. Improper repairs may void your warranty.

Do you offer discounts on future service calls for past customers?

Absolutely! We love to hear from past customers. We offer discounts on service calls to past customers and run specials on annual check ups and other items frequently (operators). Please make sure to give your email address to your salesman so you be be on our mailing list.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, check or credit card. We accept all major credit cards. Special order project may require a minimum of 50% down. National account projects may require complete payment at time of purchase (see your salesman for details). Some projects have special rules that we have to abide by in order for the customer to get the special pricing and promotional offers.

Are your installers all employees of your company?

Yes-we never use subcontractors. All our installers are employees of ours and have a vested interest in our company. They have been trained by our management team in all aspects of garage door repair and installation. Like we say “Trust the guys in the shiny red trucks!”

Our goal is to make this process painless and worry free. We will do everything we can to bring you a quality product and installation backed by our over 35 years in business. Thanks again for your purchase-we look forward to working with you!
